HUNTER HERITAGE

For more than 160 years, Hunter has created products with a purpose. In 1856, American inventor Henry Lee Norris landed in Scotland and funded Hunter, using a patented vulcanization process to produce hardwearing, waterproof rubber products. Protection from the elements is part of our DNA: during WWI and WWII, Hunter produced millions of boots for soldiers, operating 24/7 to meet the demand.

28 PARTS, 3 DAYS, 1 ICON

Handcrafted using a number of intricate processes, each pair of our iconic Original Rain Boots is made from 28 parts assembled over three days. Each individual piece is hand-cut from a 3D pattern, then assembled on an aluminum last bespoke to Hunter — a process that has remained relatively unchanged since day one.
